Sounds great:D, and does the old pk client not work? Because I can't find any ip changers that work, and even with the nemo pk client i can't log on,

Aha yeah I'm glad you're getting back into it, it's been like a year ahah.. and keeps on saying cannot find class specified, I think it's this stupid laptop... but I'll be able to get to an actual computer in like an hour or so

Couldn't find any downloadable ip changer client's so I have been using the moparscape one to try to log on. And nah, when I use that one it just says server is down, with nemoigescape.no-ip.org it says "no response from login server". I'm not sure either lol

aha one mistake I used was I use my client that you just downloaded to connect to 0.0.0.0 I changed it to nemoigescape.no-ip.org then ziped it, but forgot to recompile the client, (doh silly me) are you able to recompile?

No, lol just got this computer a couple of days ago and for some reason no matter how i set up the class paths for jdk it still says "not recognized" lol, I should probably work on fixing that aha

And once you get the client working I'd at it to the runelocus server post so people actually know where to get it, and add a forums adress in there too.. Hehe :)

I would i downloaded it like 6 times, and i get into it  i click run and it just opens up cmd real quick then it disapears and if u read it, it says A system cannot find the path specified?

yeah, happened to me too, all you need to do is download JRE 7, its the newest version aha

Umm, Would you happen to have a link to download it? and in the server do we have the same accounts or brand new? cause i was a donator aswell.

Scroll down the page a little and its there.

And as for the accounts, Rocky had to get a completely new computer so no accounts could be saved. (Plus were using a whole new source now.)
And as for the donator, you'll have to speak with Rocky about that as he handled the donations last time.

i downloaded JRE 7 for windows 84x and i click on it and it says i dont have java still

did you put that jre7 folder into your C:/ drive?

Go to C:/Drive -> Program Files -> Java -> and put jre7 in that java folder along with your other java items

its loading now i had The JRE 7 in the wrong proram files it was in Program files(x86) thanks for your help though.

Not until Rocky logs on because the server files are on his comp. And, we haven't discussed if we're keeping the staff because 90% of the old staff don't know we're up... soo idk, you'll probably stay on staff though.

Oh and for those who are having trouble with running the client and not wanting to download the new java (purely because it has issues with Java Console games), replace your client run with this;

hmm why is it stuck in everyones head that dan used to host the server....he never did back in the day it was ALWAYS me who had it running of my computer.

I actually nearlly pissed my self with laughter when i saw this so i have to share...

did anyone other than me get the email saying
"have built a dedicated computer to host the server on with 4gb ram"

well what this acctually means is I have bought a computer from pc world that i use all the time and desided to get the server back up.

and the whole "dedicated computer" part hmm i like it :/ no...no i don't as the real term would be "dedicated server machine" and you will need a better pc then pc world or a mother board bundle where you just stick all the parts together :/ did i not teach you anything back in the day......
all as a motherboard bundle is, is the insides or a normal computer (say one that pc world had on there shield) its just that stripped, packed and made to look good you aint acctually building your own computer doing that,
anyways more on the spec of the computer
does it have DDR3 ram?
how much harddrive space?
what processor does it have and at what speed?

I actually have built my own computer with....
8gb of DDR3 RaM
a 9 core processor each core running at 3.10 GHz
5 terrorbites of harddrive space
....and dont get me started on the graphics card.

(if you dont know DDR3 ram is the new ram they have brought out the old ram being DDR2)
(if your computer doesnt support DDR3 ram then you can only use DDR2 ram if you have a computer that supports DDR3 then you can have DDR3 ram and the new and upcoming DDR4 ram will also work in it)

DDR3 ram has alot more speed than the DDR2 how ever if you brought a motherboard bundle then most of the new ones come with DDR3 ram.

I did host the server when your computer blew up for a few months until coffee was spilt on my laptop and I also had to stop hosting the server

I never bought a single part from pc world and I never bought a bundle at all
I do not have a 9 core processor

I have a hexa-core processor AMD Phenom II X6
4gb ddr3 ram
1tb hard drive ( what bearing hard drive space really has on a server I have no idea)
AMD Radeon HD 6990

which is more than enough to run a server
